What are the strengths of Penn State Research in renewable energy?
Where can the university invest to make the greatest impact in advancing these technologies?
In order to address these questions, a series of committees were formed on different areas, such as Solar Energy, Batteries, and Thermal Energy. These committees then developed two-page strategic plans to better inform University Officials and Planners on activities ongoing at Penn State in renewable energy, and on where strategic investment would be most impactful. From these individual plans, the energy 2100 Steering Committee developed the report “Energy 2100:A Report on Renewable Energy Activities at Penn State” in August, 2019.
The strategic plans are also available and are listed by topic below.
